You’ll remember a few weeks ago I blogged about my neighbor Oscar’s garden. Oscar is a skilled gardener who feeds his family with the food he raises in the vacant lot across from his house.
This morning he motioned me to come tour the garden.
Apart from the squash – already there’s a little baby squash coming in – he’s planted garlic, beets, figs, tomatoes, peppers and much more.
Since my own gardening skills have withered, I might as well keep you up to date on how Oscar’s is doing.
