Off-Ramp special on 65th Anniversary of VJ Day
America -- including these celebrants in Los Angeles -- erupted in joy and relief on August 14, 1945.

With Japan's unconditional surrender, World War Two was finally over.
Radio legend Norman Corwin was in the CBS studio that day, and in 1985, producer Gerald Zelinger interviewed Corwin about the day for his documentary "14 August Revisited." It's beautifully produced, and takes you there, so, with Gerald's blessing, I've released it as a special Off-Ramp podcast, just a couple days before the 65th anniversary of VJ Day.
