While you still have to lay off his blue suede shoes, you can own Elvis' coffin

Pop-culture memorabilia collectors are probably chomping at the bit to get their hands on one heavy and also extremely expensive piece of Elvis Presley’s property. And no, it’s not his blue suede shoes. The King’s coffin will be sold to the highest bidder on June 23 and 24 as part of a sports and music icon auction series held by Julien’s Auctions of Beverly Hills. The mausoleum itself is located at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis--a far cry away from LA’s breezy west side, but the auction nonetheless offers enticed buyers a new way to tell their own tale of the crypt with a little Graceland flavor.
