I just interviewed Stephen Seemayer and Pamela Wilson in front of the old Al's Bar in downtown LA about their new/old film Young Turks. It's a delightful and refreshing documentary about their cadre of artist friends and the life they lived in downtown circa 1980.  It's new/old because a very rough cut was screened a few times when it was made 30 years ago; Pam recut it and added re-discovered footage.

Now, there's a screening date. Pamela says Young Turks will debut Friday, February 8 at the Downtown Independent Theatre and will screen daily through the 14th. The Downtown Independent is at 251 S. Main St LA 90012.

Pam adds, "We look forward to hearing how you put all we said together. By the way, I love this photo of you and Steve and Connor."

The interview will run February 2 and 3 on Off-Ramp.
