Patt's Hats: A bejeweled crustacean for a red-letter day

Election Day plus one just felt like a crustacean sort of day. I didn’t remember until later that I actually have TWO lobster pins, and could have worn both. Like "an exaltation of larks" or  "a murder of crows," what’s the plural term for lobsters?

The red jacket snapped me out of yesterday’s Election Day political neutrals, and the shoes? Well, who doesn’t love a dash of dots?

Oh the handbag. Got it in Paris – saw it in the window, marked 50-percent off, of a boutique that seemed perpetually to be ‘’fermee.’’ Until it opened. The Jules Pansu company has been making ingenious fabrics in France since 1878, and this one, with its woven images of dogs stealing food off the tables, was irresistible. In French, the pattern is ‘’Les Petits Gourmands,’’ the little gluttons.

And that reminds me of one of my favorite websites:

You will…howl.
