It's commonly known that L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti is a trained musician. He's even taken the stage to perform with his pal Moby a couple of times.

Now, the mayor is set to take to the airwaves Sunday at 6 p.m. for an hour-long stint on "My Turn," a weekly guest DJ show on KSWD 100.3's "The Sound."  We know the mayor is a busy man, so we took the liberty of putting together a suggested playlist, complete with fitting dedications from the hippest mayor in America:

--to the Army Corps of Engineers: "Take Me to the River" (Al Green)

--to Wendy Greuel: "She’s Out of My Life" (Michael Jackson)

--to President Barack Obama: "I Wanna Be Where You Are" (Jackson 5)

--to Antonio Villaraigosa: "Dance This Mess Around" (The B-52’s)

--to State Senator Ron Calderon:  "Poor Poor Pitiful Me" (Warren Zevon)

--to LAPD Chief Charlie Beck: "I Fought the Law" (The Clash)

--to LAUSD Superintendent John Deasy: "(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction" (Devo version, please)

--to the CalTrans 405 crew: "I Can’t Drive 55" (Sammy Hagar)

--to DWP union chief Brian D’Arcy: “Get Off of My Cloud” (Rolling Stones)

--to District 13 City Council successor Mitch O’Farrell: "Don’t Mess It Up" (The Manges)

--and to the mayor himself: "My Yiddishe Mambo" (Mickey Katz and His Orchestra)

And Mr. Mayor, just one more request: please, no Broadway show tunes.
