Mitt Romney to appear at Beverly Hills fundraiser

The Beverly Hilton Hotel. Beverly Hills, CA.
Mitt Romney is headed to Beverly Hills Saturday for a fundraiser.
The Republican presidential candidate is scheduled to speak around 5 p.m. at the Beverly Hilton on Wilshire Blvd.
Yes, the same Beverly Hilton where Whitney Houston recently died and where John Edwards had his infamous rendezvous with Rielle Hunter.
But it was also the locale in November 1962 where an angry Richard Nixon, frustrated that he had been defeated by Pat Brown in the California gubernatorial election, lashed out at reporters by saying: “You won’t have Nixon to kick around any more, because, gentlemen, this is my last press conference”.
That Republican went on to become the president in 1968.
