Camp Stories - Voices of Japanese American Lives Before, During & After WWII Internment Camps

This event took place on:
Saturday, September 18, 9:30 - 11:30am

In partnership with KPCC, the Cherry Blossom Festival of Southern California brings you "Camp Stories". This show will give ‘voice’ to images and impressions of life before, during, and after the WWII Internment Camps of the Japanese Americans. There are several very successful groups capturing the experiences of the Internment Camps though oral and written histories. We are giving ‘voice’ to these experiences through remembrance, documents and photos, and the spoken word. This particular program will consist primarily of stories from Pasadena residents.

Photo Exhibit by Stone Ishimaru.

Admission is FREE, but RSVPs are required.
