The New Short Fiction Series, in partnership with KPCC, presented an evening of short fiction featuring the best of its Emerging Voices at the Crawford Family Forum. The event was comprised of four 10 minute spoken word performances of short fiction and followed by a question and answer session moderated by Cheryl Klein. Cheryl Klein is the author of Lilac Mines (Manic D Press) and The Commuters, which won City Works Press’ Ben Reitman Award. Featured Authors Included: - Jenna Blough, The People Upstairs performed by Sally Shore. - Luis Garcia Romero, Am Crash performed by Matt Ferrucci. - Dana Johnson, Melvin In The Sixth Grade performed by Judy T.
