The Reviving California Community Summit, hosted by the Southern California Leadership Network
and 89.3 KPCC, was an exciting opportunity for Californians to discuss reform in the Golden State.
The focus of the discussion was the fiscal state of California: gaining a better understanding of the State’s budget triggers, and the economy and its impact on cities, communities and businesses; the short- and long-term impact on education; and the trade-offs among options we might consider in 2012, including an understanding of the kinds of fiscal reform needed.
The event took place simultaneously in three regions across the state, linked by SKYPE, to enable interactive dialogue between participants.
