Hope, imagination, music: do they affect self and community? KPCC partnered with East L.A. Chicano rock group Quetzal to bring you an evening of music performance and responsive interplay that explores these dynamics.
On Thursday, March 1st, The Crawford Family Forum hosted a conversation inspired by Quetzal’s “Imaginaries”, its 5th studio album, and first for Smithsonian Folkways Tradiciones/Traditions release. Panelists include Robin D.G. Kelley, Sonali Kohatkar, George Lipsitz, Nobuko Miyamoto, and Russell Rodriguez. KPCC’s Adolfo Guzman-Lopez moderates.
