Southern California Public Radio hosted the Pasadena Sun for an election forum featuring the five candidates running for the 41st Assembly District on the June 5th ballot. The event will also featured a panel of experts on Pasadena’s Measure A and audience members were invited to submit questions to the speakers.
The newly-drawn 41st Assembly District includes Pasadena, South Pasadena, Altadena, Sierra Madre, Monrovia, San Dimas, LaVerne, Claremont and Upland. All five Assembly candidates attended.

Pasadena’s Measure A, if passed, would create geographic voting districts for the seven seats on the Pasadena Board of Education. The panel for the Measure A discussion included Ken Chawkins, chair of the Pasadena Unified School District Districting Task Force; Stella Murga, executive director of the Pasadena Youth Center and a Measure A supporter; and William Bibbiani, a former Pasadena Board of Educaton member and an opponent of Measure A.
