Kick off the summer season with an evening of square dancing and music in San Gabriel. You can experience the historic Mission District, a distinctive public square where sacred, civic, culture and commerce meet creating a beautiful backdrop for a summer adventure.

This free event will bring an eclectic audience and offer diverse attractions. The City of San Gabriel and the Mission District stakeholders invite first-time visitors to experience one of the most important places in California’s history. There will be live music, dancing, outdoor dining, tours of historical sites and architecture, art galleries, classic cars, artmaking and carnival games for young children.

Local restaurants will offer a variety of cuisines including authentic Chinese, Italian, Mexican, BBQ, and California Bistro. Participating restaurants and cafes include Mission 261, Lunas, Alexandra’s Table, Pizza Place California, Pulciano’s, Autunno, Love to Go, and Factory Tea Bar. The San Gabriel Chamber of Commerce will host a wine bar at the Mission Playhouse plaza.
