The Long Beach Playhouse Summer Youth Conservatory is a two-week performing arts education program for incoming 3rd graders through graduating high school students.

The main focus is age appropriate training in the basic skills of theatre: Acting, Movement, Voice, Improv and much more.

A portion of the day is dedicated to preparing a performance for the end of the session. This is a wonderful opportunity for students of all experience levels to develop their creativity and confidence.

The staff is comprised of professional actors and theatre educators as well as collegiate students from the Long Beach and LA area.

Two Sessions:
July 9 – July 21, Performance on Saturday, July 21
July 23 – August 4, Performance on Saturday, August 4
Monday – Friday, 9am – 4pm
