Taking place at the Santa Monica Art Studios, a former airplane hanger that spans 22,000 square feet, this exhibition celebrates a new form of media and art. This event showcases the talent of 100+ artists who, using smart phones, have created art. The exhibit expands to include the still largely unrecognized genre of software-based fine art, as well as interactive digital, sculptural, film and video and performative work based on iPhonic installations.

Located in Arena 1 and Hangar South, the exhibit will demonstrate that even smart phones can create art. Sponsored by iPhoneArt.com, the Arts Festival will include striking images that were taken using smart phones. The LA Mobile Arts Festival is a pioneer of the underground mobile arts movement, where art and technology unite to create iPhoneography.
