Health care is widely promoted as one of the fastest-growing and most promising sectors of the American workforce. But with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act in 2014, the health care industry will face increased urgency to fill gaps that exist even now and keep pace with inevitable growth to come.

On Monday, September 24th, KPCC’s Crawford Family Forum partnered with the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County and the Hospital Association of Southern California to present “Can Workforce Keep Up with Demand in Health Care?”. KPCC health care reporter Stephanie O’Neill moderated this practical-approach conversation with present and future health care providers who'll share insights into challenges and opportunities at hospitals and clinics, currently and moving forward.
