Guaranteed at our nation’s founding to white male property owners only, the right to vote has been steadily expanded, but what barriers remain? Have new laws disenfranchised eligible voters? Why don’t more people vote? Is the Electoral College outmoded, and is the initiative process serving or undermining democracy?
In anticipation of the 2012 Presidential Election, a panel of experts will examine these and other compelling questions. Presented in association with the Beverly Hills Bar Association (BHBA). MCLE credit available (for more information, call (310) 601-2422).
$10 General; FREE to Skirball and BHBA Members
