The Hawk Hoops Sports Foundation is hosting its 2nd annual toy drive and comedy show fundraiser supporting Jenesse Center Inc., the oldest domestic violence intervention program in South Los Angeles. Hawk Hoops Foundation provides basketball camp programs for underprivileged children, a program started in 2003 by former Houston Rockets NBA player Juaquin “Hawk” Hawkins.
The event will be held at the Laugh Factory, Hollywood, starting at 6:00pm and a star studded comedy show at 7:00pm. Tickets are $15.00 at the door or $5.00 with a new unwrapped toy with a minimum value of $10.00.
The comedy show will be hosted by Evan Lionel with special guest comedians Ron G, Boogie B, Trizah, Luenell, Dave Shelton & Dennis White. Celebrity recording artists, television and screen actors attending include: Arjay Smith, Billy “Sly” Williams, Charlie Bereal, Chico Benymon, Darrell Hughes, Datari Turner, Dennis White, Dylan Mooney, Jason Weaver, Joonie, Lonny Bereal, Omar Gooding, Texas Battle, and Wesley Jonathan, in supporting this worthy cause.
