On Monday, December 17, 2012, starting at 7:30 pm, located inside the Walt Disney Concert Hall, music director Grant Gershon will conduct the city's favorite holiday tradition: a sing-along.
There’s nothing better than belting out the Hallelujah chorus during the holidays. The Los Angeles Master Chorale’s presents the famed Messiah Sing-Along conducted by The Kiki & David Ginder music director, Grant Gershon. It will be the ultimate must-do for Do-It-Yourself fans. Sopranos, altos, tenors and basses of all levels, even those with absolutely no singing experience, are welcome to participate in the sing-along. You will be joined by the 2,200 audience members as they unite to become the choir for the evening. The performance features a professional orchestra and a quartet of professional soloists from the Chorale: Suzanne Waters, soprano, Callista Hoffman, mezzo soprano, Timothy Gonzales, tenor, and Ryan Villaverde, baritone. Messiah scores will be available for purchase at the door.
“The Los Angeles Master Chorale’s Messiah Sing-Along has become one of the city’s most treasured holiday traditions,” says Gershon, “You can't help but feel the spirit of the season when you're literally surrounded by people joined together in song.”
