The Alhambra Chamber of Commerce is proud to bring the Lunar New Year Celebration to the community. Now in its 22nd year, the festival brings in around 40,000 attendees. The Lunar New Year is a time to wish for good fortune in the coming year.
The main attraction is the one-day Street Festival, with details below.
The street festival spans across five city blocks on Valley Boulevard from Garfield Avenue to Almansor Street. This is a very concentrated Chinese-American commercial district in Southern California.
There will be 250 booths that will expose the community to Asian culture.

- Children's Workshops
- Health Fair
- Cultural Demonstrations
- Giveaways
- Fun Games
- Ethnic Foods
Admission is free. Ample parking will be on the streets and nearby shopping centers.
Shuttle buses will be running north and south on Chapel Street from Wells Fargo Bank to Taco Bell near Valley Boulevard.
