Last month two Caltech researchers found what they believe to be evidence of the existence of a new ninth planet in our solar system. KPCC In Person will host a special Planetary Radio Live event as the Planetary Society's Mat Kaplan talks with Mike “Plutokiller” Brown and Konstantin Batygin about their compelling evidence for Planet 9.

Also joining the conversation will be JPL's Linda Spilker and the Planetary Society’s Senior Editor, Emily Lakdawalla.  Lakdawalla, the “Planetary Evangelist,” has earned a worldwide reputation for her deep knowledge about the planets, moons and millions of smaller objects that circle the Sun.

The solar system undoubtedly has many more surprises waiting for us. The panel will speculate about the existence of even more planets far from our warming star, and how our explorations of the last few decades have revealed unending diversity and spectacular beauty among the worlds we already know.

Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7:00pm sharp.
