Our second season of “Unheard L.A.” continues this March at the Downey Theatre in Downey, home of the oldest-operating McDonald’s and birthplace of Taco Bell, the Carpenters and the NASA space shuttle program.
Breaking the mold – juvenile justice takes new form

Two big movements — the efforts to improve the juvenile justice system and to expand access to the arts and arts education — are coming together in Southern California, where the Los Angeles County Probation Department has dedicated $1 million to support the arts for system-involved youths.

The Crawford Family Forum

The Crawford Family Forum (CFF) is KPCC's primary convening space and seeks to deepen and expand SCPR's role as a centering institution by engaging people of all backgrounds in ongoing, face-to-face conversations and explorations of the most interesting and important issues, events and cultural developments of the day.
