In-Depth, Independent News
Through its Broadcast Center and Forum, Southern California Public Radio will help meet the wide range of information needs of the diverse communities of our region.
The Forum at Southern California Public Radio's Broadcast Center will:
» bring diverse audiences together and encourage face-to-face discussion and debate on the most important issues of the day
» host audiences for live programs like AirTalk with Larry Mantle and Patt Morrison
» provide space for community groups' meetings and gatherings
» create a much-needed space for civic engagement in Southern California
SCPR's Forum will be a physical manifestation of our public service mission: a modern-day Town Hall for all of Southern California. SCPR will provide a common place for people to come together, to understand each other and to grow together. But we can only achieve this goal with the help of civic-minded people who believe that informed communities make a better democracy.
We hope you will help us build Southern California's Town Hall for the 21st Century. Your contribution to this vital campaign is greatly needed to help us realize our vision-and meet your goals and expectations for Southern California Public Radio and the communities we serve. You can make a difference. You can help shape the future of our community.
