The City of Boston has announced that it has ended its bid to host the 2024 Olympics. And, shortly following that surprise announcement, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti expressed a desire to resume talks with the U.S. Olympic Committee on the possibility of bringing the 2024 Games to Southern California.
