Does your kids' school ask you for money?

Does your kids' school ask you for money?

You pay your taxes to support public school. You may also pay tuition to a private school. So why is your kid's school asking you for even more money? And how are they using it?

How do you react to the annual letters and requests for tens, hundreds, even thousands of dollars that come from your childrens' schools? Do you complain or comply? Or both?

KPCC's news staff is interested in hearing about your experiences balancing your family's budget with your school's clamor for financial support beyond what you've already paid in taxes and/or tuition.

Your responses are confidential and seen only by journalists, and we won't air or publish what you tell us without your permission. but we're also looking for a few people who are willing to share their stories with our audience. A producer or reporter might contact you for more information.
