Will you have a different member of Congress after the November general election? Do you care?
Congressional district lines get moved every ten years to adjust for population changes. The most recent changes are quite stark, so many Californians will have a new or unfamiliar member of Congress. This matters if you go to your representative for help with such federal matters as Social Security, taxes, military service, immigration appeals and so on.
Use this district finder from nonpartisan HealthyCity.org to learn whether your U.S. representative will change. It opens a new window in your browser. Then, come back to this page to tell KPCC political reporters how you are affected.
Responses are confidential, so nothing you share is aired or published without your permission. We use the responses to help shape our reporting. A KPCC journalist might contact you for additional information.
