Psychiatrists: Do you limit your social networking?

One of our reporters wants to hear from psychiatrists about their use of social media.

He’s got questions about the ethical guidelines you follow, and the benefits and pitfalls of using sites like Twitter, Facebook, Google+ or LinkedIn.

Do you let your patients “friend” you on Facebook or follow you on Twitter? Do you follow or friend them? Has that gone well or wrong?

What steps do you take to limit who sees your social media posts? What guidelines do you follow when deciding whom to permit into your circle of social media trust?

Your response is confidential, so we won’t quote your on the air or online without your permission.
