San Diego Schools Chief Appointed Secretary of Education

Governor Schwarzenegger appoints San Diego Schools Superintendant Alan Bersin to replace Richard Riordan as State Secretary of Education. Bersin is a former US Attorney who has had a contentious relationship with San Diego teachers and the school board.
