Countrywide Lays Off Employees, Seeks to Reassure Customers

Rough times continue at Calabasas-based Countrywide Financial. The country's largest mortgage lender has started laying off employees. And its bank has moved to reassure customers that their deposits are safe. KPCC's Brian Watt reports.
