If you prefer open-air sunbathing without tan lines, you’ll be able to enjoy it for one more summer at San Onofre State Beach.

State park officials say they’ll offer verbal warnings to nudists on the beach through Labor Day. After that, they’ll begin to ticket anyone who doesn’t cover certain parts of their anatomy.

CA/Local News

For two decades naturalists have enjoyed a clothing-optional rule along a 1,000-foot stretch of San Onofre State Beach. But last month the state’s 4th Circuit Court of Appeal decided against nudists and for state officials who want to ban nakedness in response to complaints about lewd behavior.

A group of nudists says it’s considering an appeal to the state Supreme Court.
