Later this year, international travelers at LAX will be able to sink their teeth into a Hollywood icon. KPCC’s Brian Watt explains.
Pink’s Hot Dogs is coming to the Tom Bradley International Terminal. A company called Delaware North will run the eatery, with the blessing of the city agency that runs the airport. Pink’s has been serving up famous chili dogs for 70 years &ndash or back when its La Brea Avenue location was in “the country.” Now those dogs could be some passengers’ first taste of America.
Pink’s presence will surely beef up the restaurant choices at LAX, which more than a few travelers have been known to dog.
And if the line at the airport Pink’s is as long as the line on La Brea, departing passengers will have something to do with those two hours before an international flight.
