Study says guest worker program may help stop illegal immigration

Our unemployment rate for American workers is nearly 10%! We have a dozen guest worker programs right now! The government is bringing in over a million foreign workers a year! Stop guest worker programs, build the fence, deport all illegal aliens and jail and fine the greedy criminal employers that hire them!

The answer is simple that 10% of american are with out a job not because of the housekeeping or the dishwasher.... They are unemployee because they don't want to do any phisical work at all and about the pay; if a restaurant pays $15 hr (that's what a average american want to do per hr) to a dishwasher you will be pay more money for every meal you and your family eat. I think the articule was very good because that's the only comun sense answer to the problem. Please open your eyes and stop listen to thoses stupid and racist liberal radio shows, they get pay to have stuck to the radio. Duh!

Guest workers are still slave labor, and they do not go home. Ask the Europeans.

I discussed the financial aspects of their report at my name's link. And, our "guests" would have U.S. citizen children, something that those pushing such programs won't acknowledge because that tends to complicate their "argument".

Most Americans would do what they have to do to support their families but not for slave wages. We do not live four famlies to a two bedroom apartment.
I am not against guest worker programs, but the employers should cover tne medical expenses and any child born to a guest worker is a citizen of the country of origin of the parent, not a US citizen. STOP ANCHOR BABIES

I used to prepare amnesty and other immigration applications. "Comprehensive" reform or "guest workers" programs simply will lead to an explosion of legal and illegal immigration: The Fed will not have the will to enforce our immigration laws and see to it that those who violate their immigration status will be deported. If the misleading "reform" with amnesty and "guest worker" visas is adopted, we will see even higher unemployment, health care costs and budget deficits.
Many pro-immigration Americans have been laid off due to the budgetary shortfalls. It is high time that we all urge President Obama and Congress to enact some sort of immigration moratorium across the board.

The only reason we may need immigrant workers is for the farmers. How about have the farmers apply for the workers. That way, when the immigrants enter this Country, they will enter with a valid VISA and guest worker card. They will do the work. When the work is done, they will return home. They WILL NOT remain in this Country and use our social services and natural recourses. Would you accept that?

BUT FIRST, we must get rid of all the illegal aliens in the Ciuntry.

Illegal aliens have made America the dumping ground for all their illegal alien children, then we have to school them and give them free medical care.

I for one, am sick and tired of these ILLEGAL ALIENS snubbing their nose at our immigration laws and the many other laws of this Country. If our Federal Government can not ENFORCE our immigration laws, and get these ILLEGAL ALIENS out of this Country, then let the States do it! One way or another, an end has to come to this illegal immigration, and not with AMNESTY! Amnesty will only encourage more ILLEGAL ALIENS to invade our Country and reward those who broke our laws and raped the American taxpayer in many ways...depressing our wages, taking our jobs, overwhelming our schools with their ILLEGAL ALIEN children, driving without a license or car insurance, all the crime from stolen identities to rape, drugs and everything else.

Moving to Mexico
Dear Mr. President, Senate and House of Representatives:

I'm planning to move my family and extended family (18-20 mouths) into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me.

We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico , and we'll need your help to make a few arrangements.

We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here.

So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Calderon, that I'm on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.

2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.

3. All Mexico government forms need to also be printed in English.

4. I want my kids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual) teachers.

5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.

6. I want my kids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school.

7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.

8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.

9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico, but, I don't plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.

10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer.

11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put U S. flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.

12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.

13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say a critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all his people who come to the U.S. from Mexico .
I am sure that President Calderon won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

Let's stop the hate and learn the real debate...time for a reality check to all you haters...

1. the 14th amendment is the existing law of the land and as such gives everyone the right to citizenship based on the location of their birth. I know the old argument and know the debates that happened in congress as well as the senator that wrote the bill. What you haters don't realize is that the debate was settled and is now law. It would take a congressional act to amend the constitution. ha. the founding father's saw you coming a long way away. 2. Citizens commit 99.2% of all crimes committed in the USA. Out of the 11,251,818 crimes, yes - 11.3 million, crimes committed in the USA only 99,000 crimes are committed by the undocumented alien community. When you try to graph the numbers, it doesn't even show up at 1% of the crimes. Actually they are only responsible for 0.8% percent of crimes and if you include apprehensions (860,832) since some of you think that's a crime - legally speaking - it isn't) the number goes up to only 8.5%. I have applied to every hotel's website in my city and never been called for an interview. Do you know why? The jobs are only offered through Spanish agencies who hire illegal aleins. The website postings are just a sham!

Illegal aliens have not free assistance in America: They pay Taxes and Social Security. Still they don't get unemployment money when they lose their jobs and don't get Social Security Benefits at all.
So far they are not allowed to get a Social Security Number, they are compelled to use an ITIN (Tax Payer ID for IRS purposes).
They don't even have proper documents to apply for Free Housing or Medical Assistance (they are not "qualifying aliens").
America has to stop blaming on these humble human beings. They work hard and contribute to the economy of the country.
It's time for Americans to assume for their own mistakes and responsibilities, instead of blaming other countries or nationalities or illegal aliens. What a Shame!
Let's give a chance to those values which made America a great country: a country of great morality and humanity.
