California Army National Guard names first female brigadier general

The California Army National Guard has its first-ever female brigadier general. Charlotte Miller is 50, and becomes the second-highest officer with the state Army National Guard.

KPCC’s Steve Julian spoke with General Miller, who’s the daughter of an Air Force master sergeant, and what the promotion means to her personally.
