Cool weather in Sheep Fire area expected to warm up
The latest wildfire in southern California is now 75 percent contained. KPCC's Steve Julian says the cooler weather that helped firefighters battle the fire is turning warmer.
A low-pressure system that brought record lows to the San Gabriel Mountains this week is moving out of the region. Firefighters dealt with, but also benefited from, temperatures below freezing. This helped them put out most of the fire, but higher daytime temperatures makes them wary.
