Temecula boy arrested in fight that left boy unconscious
A 15-year-old Temecula boy was arrested in connection with an assault that left a fellow student unconscious at the Temecula Community School, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Police responded to a call of an assault today at 9:32 a.m. at the school, at 41125 Winchester Road.
Two students had been arguing when one student struck the other student in the head, knocking him unconscious, police said. The boy's condition late Monday was not known.
The victim was treated at the scene for trauma to his head and was transported to a local hospital.
The boy was booked on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon and was booked into the Southwest Juvenile Hall.
