UCLA basketball player Dragovic charged with assault

UCLA basketball player Nikla Dragovic, 21, is scheduled to be arraigned next month on felony assault charges. He allegedly pushed a man through a glass display following a concert last month.

Dragovic and a friend, Aleksandar Stanisic, were arrested Friday on a felony warrant charging them each with felony assault, according to Deputy District Attorney Michelle Dodd. They were released Friday night after posting $30,000 bail each.

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, during an Oct. 24 concert at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood, Stanisic allegedly got into a dispute with another man and his girlfriend. After the concert, Dragovic rushed the man, knocking him into a glass display that shattered on him. The glass cut the man's Achilles tendon.

As the two were on the ground, Stanisic allegedly began punching the man until security and bystanders broke them up.
