LA SUV driver killed when struck by big rig

LOS ANGELES - The driver of a sport utility vehicle died in a fiery crash when it was struck by a big rig.
The collision occurred at 7:41 p.m. Wednesday on West Jefferson Boulevard, between La Cienega Boulevard and La Brea Avenue, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Both vehicles burst into flames. The man's remains were burned and his identity had not been confirmed, a coroner's investigator said early today.
