Westwood apartment catches fire

An apartment caught fire today on the third floor of a Westwood apartment building, but no one was injured.
The fire was reported at 11:09 a.m. in a kitchen on the third floor of a four-story apartment building on S. Kelton Ave. near Santa Monica Boulevard, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

With 32 firefighters on the scene, the fire was extinguished in 13 minutes.
No injures were reported.
