Susan Lucci is the grand marshal for this year's Hollywood Christmas Parade.
Preparations are underway for tomorrow’s annual Hollywood Christmas Parade.
This year’s grand marshal is actress Susan Lucci from All My Children – and not just because of star-power, says parade chairman Michel Papadaki.
"She specifically was selected because as Los Angeles knows, the motion picture and television industry is struggling economically as many businesses are and her show is moving from New York back to Los Angeles."
Coca-Cola is sponsoring the parade. MyNetworkTV will record the event for nationwide broadcast next month. The parade begins at 6 Sunday evening in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard.
