Shootings in Norwalk and Downey leave 3 wounded
Two apparently unrelated shootings, one outside a Norwalk cocktail bar and the other outside of a Downey night club left three people with non-life-threatening injuries.

early today in Norwalk, a sheriff's sergeant said.
There was a fight outside the Torch Room Lounge, 10632 E. Imperial Highway, and one of the people in the fight came back and shot the man in the arm, said Sgt. Douglas Jensen of the Sheriff's Norwalk Station. The wound was not considered life-threatening.
Jensen said Information about the suspect was not immediately available.

Around the same time, a man and a woman were wounded in a shooting outside a salsa club in Downey early today, police said.
The shooting, reported around 1:20 a.m., was preceded by a fight inside the establishment, Vasilios Restaurant and Night Club at 7931 E. Firestone Blvd., said Downey Police Sgt. David Zimmerman.
The injuries were not considered life-threatening, Zimmerman said.
About a dozen people were ordered to lie face down and spreadeagled outside the club after the shooting, a camera crew reported from the site.
Vasilios is billed on its Web site as "The Hottest Salsa Club in Los Angeles."
