Lakers All-Star forward Ron Artest trips, falls on Christmas night
Los Angeles Lakers All-Star forward Ron Artest tripped on a box, fell down a flight of stairs and gashed open his head and left elbow Christmas night, and will miss tonight's game in Sacramento, the team announced today.
Artest got stitches and a C-T scan at the emergency room at the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center. He will be examined today in Los Angeles by a neurologist, and a date for his return to the lineup will be determined then,
the team said.
