Police seek pair of burglars who struck Hollywood Hills homes
Police announced today they are seeking the public's help finding a man and woman suspected of burglarizing homes in the Hollywood Hills.
The suspects were recorded on tape during an Oct. 18 burglary around 3:15 p.m. at a home in the 2000 block of Wattles Drive, said Officer Gregory Baek of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspects apparently used a pry tool to open a side door to the residence, Baek said. "Once inside, the suspects removed several plasma televisions from the location.''
Police described the woman as Hispanic, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 5 inches and about 135 pounds with long brown hair. She was initially wearing a black tank top, black shorts and black sandals, but later changed into a white shirt.
The male suspect is white or Hispanic, in his early 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches and 325 pounds. He had a goatee and was wearing a blue button-down shirt, jean shorts, white tennis shoes and a white baseball hat.
Anyone with information about the burglars was asked to contact Hollywood Burglary Detectives at (213) 972-2930 or (877) LAPD-24-7.
