Philippe's reopens after being closed for cockroach infestation

Philippe the Original restaurant, known for their French dip sandwiches, was shut down by county health inspectors earlier this week because of a cockroach infestation, but the restaurant was reopened today.

Health inspectors discovered the problem around 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Times. They had conducted an inspection after receiving complaints.

The restaurant reportedly receives high scores during routine inspections, including scoring in the low 90s this week in spite of the cockroach infestation.
