Police investigate Garden Grove home invasion
Police today investigated a home invasion robbery that left three people in Garden Grove with minor injuries.
The robbers – armed with pistols or fake weapons – tied up two of the three victims, but one victim managed to escape and call 911 from a neighbor's home around 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, said Garden Grove police Lt. Jeff Nightengale.
The intruders – how many was not immediately released – fled before police arrived, he said.
Police interviewed the victims to learn more about what happened, Nightengale said.
A crime scene investigator wearing rubber gloves carried about a half-dozen paper bags out of the home late Wednesday, a video crew at the scene reported.
Anyone with information about the home invasion robbery was urged to call Garden Grove police at (714) 741-5704.
