Police in riot gear kicked in the door of a South Los Angeles home early today, looking for a suspect in a shooting that left two men wounded, but they made no arrests.
Police sought William Storrs, 43, a parolee, said Los Angeles police Sgt. David Hall of the 77th Street Station.
Storrs allegedly shot and wounded two men at 531 W. 46th St. about 11:15 p.m. Monday, and he shot at his ex-girlfriend but missed her, Hall said.
A 40-year-old man was shot in his hand, and a 38-year-old man was shot in the neck, Hall said. Their names were withheld.
Just after midnight, police in helmets and carrying shotguns went to a home at 46th and Figueroa and kicked in the door, but made no arrests, RMG News reported.
Storrs allegedly used a revolver in the shooting, but it was not found, Hall said.
The shooting was not gang-related, Hall said.
