Police sought the public's help to identify the gunman or gunmen involved in a May 13 shooting that left a man dead and a woman injured in South Los Angeles.
Police identified the dead man as Clint Smith, 28. He was shot at 6:15 p.m. that night as he and a female friend were standing in a courtyard in the 6300 block of Brynhurst Avenue.
Smith was pronounced dead at the hospital from his injuries and the second victim, who was not identified, was treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound and later released.
Detectives say the shooting was gang related.
Police had no description of the culprits.
