CHINO HILLS — San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies say a man attacked his estranged wife, chased her down the street, then stabbed her until she collapsed and died in the driveway of a vacant home in Chino Hills.
Sgt. Don Lupear says 33-year-old Iman Wahid ran from her Chino Hills home after being stabbed Tuesday afternoon by her estranged husband.
Lupear says 39-year-old Samir Wahid chased her in his car and after about 100 yards he got out and started stabbing her again. She collapsed in a driveway and was pronounced dead a short time later.
Wahid waited until deputies arrived and was arrested. He was booked for investigation of murder at the West Valley Detention Center.
Lupear says the couple's three children have been placed with Child Protective Services.
