WOODLAND HILLS — Water service to a handful of customers was disrupted this afternoon after a six-inch water main behind Taft High School in Woodland Hills burst.
The outage was reported about 3:30 p.m. behind the school, said MaryAnne Pierson of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
She said traffic was affected on the street behind the campus, but was still getting through. There was no property damage otherwise, she said, and little damage to the street.
Service to 11 customers had to be cut as work crews arrived, according to Pierson, who had no estimate of how long it would take to complete repairs.
