Authorities are investigating whether an Orange County man suspected of a rape in Arizona is responsible for sexually assaulting other women across the country.
Investigators searching Kevin Francois' home recently found 300 school and government photo identifications, hundreds of photos of unknown women and worn female underwear.
The 44-year-old was arrested in January in Newport Beach for investigation of resisting an officer after he was seen loitering near an apartment complex.
The California Department of Justice is looking for more information after Francois' DNA matched a burglary and rape in 2003 in Tempe, Ariz. Authorities say he traveled frequently and believe he may have had other victims.
He remains in custody while awaiting extradition to Arizona.
