Police report 2 arrests outside Staples Center
Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck says "so far so good" outside Staples Center in the final moments of Game 7 of the NBA finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics.
Police spokesman John Romero says there have been two arrests - both misdemeanors for drinking in public.
Police officers stood watch as a crowd began to grow on a street corner near the arena.
Several nearby roads and freeway off-ramps have been closed.
Police massed around the arena before the game, aiming to prevent a repeat of the violence that accompanied the Lakers' victory last year.
